His area of expertise focused on Food Business Development throughout the world especially within the Middle East & North Africa.

Dr. Rafiq is an active member of the Dubai Quality Group, the American Society for Quality, an IRCA certified auditor in Quality Management Systems and HACCP - Food Safety Systems, and has contributed as a lecturer and trainer to numerous regional educational institutes including the University of Wollongong in Dubai, UAE University and Ajman Science and Technology University.

Rafiq founded rmk-the experts to become the launch pad from which he may share his vision and extensive experience with regional organizations in different businesses.
